Ludovic Chaveriat received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Picardie Jules Verne in 2005 under the supervision of Pr D. Beaupère and Dr I. Stasik in the Glucides Laboratory (Amiens). During his Ph.D., his work focused on the valorisation of glyconolactones to obtain monoaminoacids, heterocycles, surfactants or liquids cristals. He then spent 12 months as a postdoctoral position at the «Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique of Grenoble» (France) with Pr. F. Vinet et A. Imberty, working on the synthesis of new activatable probes for non-invasive small animal fluorescence imaging.
In 2007, he becomes Assistant Professor and joined the team «Green Chemistry and Environment» of the «L.P.C.I.A.» where he develops Natural-Based Surfactants.
